STAEDTLER Fineliner triplus 42pcs

No leakage, no bleed through, smooth fine lines. Good color variety. Staedtler products always seem to be high quality at a reasonable price.

I ordered these Staedtler Triplus Fineliner set of 36 colors after trying some lesser fineliner markers on dried watercolor flowers to add detail. And I am happy to report that this set, which has better quality markers and a better color selection, is perfect for what I wanted it for. Please note, these are not alcohol markers - they are water soluble, so I add the fine details to florals with these markers after my loose flower paintings are totally dry, and they look great. I use a color that is a little darker than the paint I use for the flower, and it looks like gentle shadows or botanical details, giving the paintings a very finished look. They're also great for tiny, detailed drawings. I do a lot of smaller, detailed abstracts - usually very geometric - and these pens are wonderful for these. The paper i use is tile to postcard sized, and I'm very pleased with the results. Please note that I hvaen't yet lightfast tested them, although I will. For now, I use them for sketchbook work, where lightfastness isn't important. I love drawing with them, love adding them to dry watercolor paints, and they really did exceed my expectations. Oh, and considering they're under $20 for 36 markers, I also consider them a good value.

These are good quality fine tip markers. They don’t oversaturate the paper and bleed through. It contains many vibrant bright colors. I feel like it is a good value.

Wide variety of different colors. They dry quickly and write smooth. I like the fine point, which is great for left handed people.

Great pens my only complaint is they don’t have a number or name system. But one can be created using your own numbering or color scheme. They work great for what I use them for which are details inside adult coloring books.

I love these fineliners for small details in coloring books, they don’t bleed through as long as you don’t push too hard. They arrived in a damaged box, but the pens are fine and they work as they should. The best part of Staedtler fineliners is they can be purchased individually for replacements.

I spent some time doodling with these, I also have Shapie fine point pens. using these and sharpie side by side on the same paper shows that these give rich, smooth color with no bleed through in comparison to the sharpie brand which clearly shows through the rather thick paper I am using. These pens are very fine tip, don't scratch, don't require a ton of pressure, and I have not noticed any issues with the ink being dry. I use the highlighters from this company also and honestly they have been my favorite since college, so I expect these fineliners will end up being my favorite over the sharpie - oh and these don't have a odor, which is awesome.
