Perfect - Very Happy With CPU Purchase
In my opinion, this was a good value / deal. I had an old i7 and and was not planning to update quite yet. This i9 also was same socket, had way improved specs, and was a drop in - so it was great. I notice the difference with the i9 (from older i7) big time. I was dubious at first to buy a “renewed” CPU, but my goal was temp stop-gap until I buy a whole new mobo etc., but all my fears were gone once I saw the CPU working (posted first boot), was amazingly simple and made a good difference to extend this machine’s useful life! Great deal - very happy!

Chip was dead upon arrival.
I planned on upgrading from a i5 9600k to the i9 9900k. Decided I could save some money by getting a used chip since CPUs are notoriously resilient and could last 20 years÷. But the chip I received was totally fried, whoever returned it before me tried to overclock it at 1.8v or something and totally killed it. Just buy a new one.
