COSRX 15% Niacinamide Face Serum, 0.67 fl oz, Pore Minimizer Serum for Face, Even Skin Tone, Korean Skin Care

Have bought this serum 3x now. It’s in my daily arsenal routine. It absorbs quickly without the sticky feel and pairs well with my moisturizer. I’ve noticed a reduction in my pores and overall appearance and texture of my skin. Does not irritate. Big fan of the Korean skin care lines.

I normally use Paula’s Choice Niacinamide for Goch works great but no longer fits my budget. This Niacinamide however, is effective at minimizing pores, budget friendly and makes my skin look amazing and glowy. It does not have a strong fragrance at all and absorbs easily into my skin.

This is a very good serum. My skin feels almost instantly smoother, softer, and more refined right after applying it. It’s a bit sticky at first, but the stickiness disappears quickly as it absorbs. I’d love to see a 20% version someday, but even at 15% it works amazingly well on my skin. I highly recommend it.

This niacinamide serum has good ingredients and helps with oil control, but the 15% strength feels quite strong for my skin. I noticed some improvement with oiliness, but I had to use it only a few times per week and always follow with a good moisturizer. It may strong actives. Overall, it’s decent, but not something I can use daily.

Great product! it helped clear up my acne and minimized inflation of new acne breakouts, and cleared up skin discoloration. It takes about a week to see full results if you're consistent washing your face and applying nightly or as needed. I'm happy with my results. its a great purchase, after using so many others that just didn't work.

Keeps skin tight. My skin is perfect

While searching for products to help fade melasma, I decided to get something with niacinamide instead of vitamin C because of its instability. However, I really wish I would have done a little more research.. After using this for almost a month, I found out that the percentage is much too high for first-time users and/or those with sensitive skin. I might have been fine if I would have slowly introduced it into my routine by using the tiniest amount once or twice a week, but I had no idea that we have to build up a tolerance to new treatment products before we can use them daily. So, my skin is very oily, extremely sensitive, with enlarged pores and melasma. Right off the bat I started using a dropper full of this day and night. 🤦🏻‍♀️ BIG mistake. Not only was my face cherry red all day long, but it dried out my skin in certain areas, AND because I did not bring it close to my eyes or lips, there were noticeably brighter rings around them. It looked like I had a shade of concealer around my eyes and lips that was 5x lighter than my skin tone. A little over a week ago I quit using it entirely, thank goodness I did. Within a couple of days the dry areas and red irritation disappeared, while the bright rings finally returned to my normal skin tone. I regret not taking a picture when it was obvious enough for others to see, you will just have to take my word for it. 😋 Another reason 15% is too strong—maybe unless you are an EXPEIRENCED user—is that many other products we use already have a small percentage of niacinamide added into their serums/moisturizers. For example, CeraVe has it in almost all of their moisturizers and sunscreens. So layering that on top off 15%, could possibly be giving your skin an overdose of up to 16-20% or more. ❗️🚨❗️ At those concentrations it could be very harsh and do the exact opposite of its intended treatment. That being said, if you already have a tolerance to niacinamide and are using other serums/moisturizers that lack it, I would definitely give this a try. 👍 Otherwise, I strongly suggest starting with 5% and working your way up to 10%. Also, be aware of the niacinamide content in other products you use with this! Finally, as for the product itself, because I used it wrong, I don't have much to truly review other than I did notice it helped with excess sebum control. For me, that only benefit was not worth the side effects I encountered. 🙅🏻‍♀️ Also, I noticed a few reviews mention you have to “shake” this before you using it. While that is true, I would not actually shake it as if I am trying to mix a protein drink. Instead, open it and squeeze the dropper to empty it. Close it back up WITHOUT squeezing it again, you want the dropper to be sans product while you do this. Roll it back and forth a few times between your palms like you would a nail polish, turn it around and roll it again. That’s all you have to do. In concluson, because I do love COSRX products, for the extra sebum it got rid of, and the hope that this serum will do its thing when I work up a proper tolerance to it, I rate it 3 stars. They lose two because it is too strong and because they could easily warn consumers how to work up a tolerance for daily use, yet neglect to. 👎 I hope this helps.

My hyperpigmentation has gradually become less pronounced, revealing a more even skin tone that I've been striving to achieve for years. Additionally, the serum has effectively minimized the appearance of enlarged pores and provided relief from redness, enhancing my skin's overall clarity and texture. I haven’t noticed a difference in the overall moisture or hydration of my skin but it was never my intention anyway. What sets this product apart for me is not only its efficacy but also its gentle formula. Despite the high concentration of niacinamide, my sensitive skin has tolerated it well without any signs of irritation or dryness. This is a significant advantage, as many potent skincare treatments can be too harsh for delicate skin.. After consistent use, the improvements in my skin are undeniable. While patience is necessary to see full results, this serum has proven to be a powerful ally in reducing hyperpigmentation and enhancing my skin's overall health. I would highly recommend giving it a go if your looking to reverse hyperpigmentation or smooth out pores it’s definitely a product worth incorporating into your routine!

Estoy súper contenta con este sérum de niacinamida de COSRX. Desde que lo uso, he notado una mejora real en el aspecto de los poros, se ven más pequeños y la piel mucho más uniforme. La sensación en la cara es muy agradable, deja la piel fresca, equilibrada y sin brillos excesivos. Es perfecto para piel muy grasa, ya que regula bien el sebo sin resecar ni irritar. Yo lo uso una vez al día y es más que suficiente para notar resultados.
