I have tried quite a few oil cleansers in the last 6-7 years. This is the best one. Better than Farmacy, better than Youth to the People, better than Naturium, and better than any other japanese or korean brands I have tried. It removes difficult makeup and sunscreen in 60 seconds (that is how long I like to massage my cleansers in) and it feels so silky on the skin. It has a nice slip to it so i never feel that I am tugging at my face. It all melts into my hands as soon as I begin to rub them together. My biggest pet peeve with cleansing balms is that they never fully melt into my hands and i am left with big cleanser chunks between my fingers. That is not the case with this balm. It is perfect. It does not leave a residue either, if that is something you look for. Personally I never mind either way because Im going to follow with a regular cleanser right after. But this rinses of clean and leaves my face feeling soft. There is a very pleasant scent to this balm as well. I don’t find it too strong and it doesn’t irritate my skin, either. Finally, the price is a bit wild for the amount, but honestly, I truly think i will keep coming back because I have never used a better balm and I don’t believe i ever will.

Since I started using Then I Met You Liovng Clransing Balm, I can’t wait to wash my face in the morning and keep checking the clock at night to see if it’s time to go wash my face before bed. I am truly obsessed with this product. First, it smells so good I can’t wait to open the lid. My delight only improves when my make-up melts away including my very difficult to remove mascara. It is very gentle on the eye area, and I can even open my eyes to check and see if it’s all gone or if I need to rub it in a bit more. There is no stinging whatsoever unlike every other make-up remover I have ever used. I also don’t get that weird blurry eye thing after I rinse. In addition, my face feels hydrated when I’m done rinsing but not oily. I have T-zone oily skin. I have been using for almost a month, and I feel I have barely used any product at all. My face loves it! I think the quality is amazing and it’s worth every penny - especially as it seems it will last for quite a while. I will not hesitate to purchase again.

The best cleansing balm I've tried! I have neither dry nor oily skin that is sensitive with rosacea. This cleanser has the perfect texture and leaves me so soft and clean, but not tight and dry. What takes it over the top is the scent, though! It has orange and rosemary essential oil and smells citrusy and fresh, not not heavy. This is an expensive product, but it is worth it! It's like a mini spa for my face!

Just tried this tonight and I am impressed with it. It smells great and seem to cleanse pretty well. I don’t normally wear make up so I didn’t have any to take off with it, but I did use it to cleanse my face after the day and then followed it up with my normal cleanser. It went on smooth and had a pretty even consistency, but I will say that it felt a little greasy/oily however it did not leave a weird residue on my face or anything like that. It had a decent amount of moisture to it so it didn’t leave my face feeling dry either. It felt like a good product.

I am a licensed esthetician, formerly in medical esthetics practices, and this cleansing balm is outstanding! It rivals the BEST cosmeceutical products and has become my favorite cleanser among them all! The balm removes every trace of eye and face make up, and lasts a long time (about 7 weeks). I have sensitive and dehydrated skin (leaning dry), and this was both non irritating and hydrating. I love the emollient texture. Does not leave a residue behind! I do a double cleanse with the balm, I just use it in 2 different ways. The first cleanse I use directly onto dry skin, rinse very well using a wet bamboo wash cloth and then second cleanse needs only 1/2 the amount as the first cleanse onto damp hands and damp skin. It completely removes every trace from first cleanse including sunblock, warterproof mascara and stubborn makeup. The balm rinses perfectly with no residue or tightness; just fresh and hydrated skin ready for next step. Love it! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! This will be EXCELLENT for all skin types no matter what the condition from oily to dry and everything in between. Skip the wash rags and get bamboo wash cloths for a GAME CHANGER skin care routine. So I don't like greasy facial washes. I recieved a sample and loved it. It goes on feeling greasy smooth ( Orginally I am thinking, heck NO!) But I rub it in a circular motion to remove make up. Pat my hands in warm water and touch face to lighten up product and it removes it and no longer greasy. Leaves face smooth and clean not greasy. It only takes a VERY small amount. I don't have to put night cream on after as it feels nice.

Been trying for over a week. Nice texture, silky smooth, does the job. Skin feels drying after washing off. Has a slight stale smell , but it doesn't bother. Its colored like, turmeric and stains , so beware.
