Wonderful stuff. Very affordable too.
I am absolutely blown away by how good Cos De Baja products are. The fact that the products are so very affordable is a huge plus. I have never been able to afford the so-called miracle beauty products with the ridiculous price tags. I just figured, I'm 62 and I just wouldn't worry about getting old and ugly, dry and scalie, bumpy and patchy because I couldn't afford to do anything about it anyway. Then I ran across Cos De Baja's NZ serum...and it was so affordable. I bought it, used it, and was thoroughly amazed at the improvement of my life-long problem skin. So, I decided to add Cos De Baja's VA and GN serums to my face regime after doing some research on them. I have been using NZ for about 2months now, and using VA (vitamin C serum) and GN (galactomyces ferment serum) for about a month. My skin is so wonderful! Finally! I have the best skin of my life. No peeling and flaking for the first time ever. No redness. Dark patches are almost gone. Pores and scars seem to be smaller, thinned down and much less noticable. And soft! I never wear make-up anymore other than a little lip gloss. Blemishes are almost a thing of the past. It is so nice, I cannot say how wonderful it feels not to be ashamed of my bare skin. Anyway, the three major and most important points I want to make about the products, and everyone should take notice of: -The products really work. -The products are very affordable for nearly everyone. -The products are pure, with a minimum of ingredients and no crazy chemicals in them. I only wish so much that I had taken before pictures!!!

high quality products at an affordable price
i don’t write reviews but for this brand i will. it contains active ingredients that provides the same effect as other, more expensive brands i’ve tried, that give you less product. slightly sticky for about a minute then it all soaks into your skin. i have noticed the discoloration on my cheeks is more even, and bright. the lines under my eyes have significantly lessened. when i put makeup on it sits more smoothly & my under eyes don’t crease as much. have been purchasing their serums for about 5 years now & will continue to do so. you can’t find a serum this effective for this price anywhere.

Honest Vitamin C Serum Review – Good, But Not Game-Changing
First, the positives: it feels nice on the skin. The texture is lightweight, absorbs quickly, and layers well under moisturizer and sunscreen. It didn’t irritate my skin or cause breakouts, which is always a win. Overall, it’s a solid, well-formulated product. That said… I didn’t notice much of a difference. I was hoping for brighter skin, more even tone, maybe a little glow boost — but the changes were subtle at best. My skin looked fine, maybe slightly smoother, but nothing dramatic. Definitely not the kind of visible improvement that makes you think, “Wow, this is transforming my skin.” Here’s my honest takeaway: if you’re dealing with real skin concerns like hyperpigmentation, acne scarring, or deeper discoloration, you’re probably better off seeing a dermatologist and getting prescription-strength skincare. Medical-grade treatments (like prescription retinoids or targeted pigment treatments) are simply more effective than spending money on over-the-counter products that often contain low percentages of active ingredients. Vitamin C isn’t bad — it can be a nice supportive product — but if you’re expecting major results, it may not deliver on its own. Bottom line: good product, gentle formula, but for serious results, professional guidance and prescription skincare are usually a smarter investment.

Great serum
I have been using this serum for a couple of years now. It's good value for the price and the quality of the serum has been consistent. I love the texture of it and it's fairly light on my skin. I put it on first under azelaic acid for lightening, better skin texture, and nourishing the skin. I've actually only put this on a couple times accidentally. Got busy and forgot to put in the rest of my face stuff. My skin felt soft and wasn't dry all day. It wasn't as nice as when I use the other items but it worked well on its own. It helps hydrate the skin very well and my dark shorts are lighter, but I think that's due to using a couple items in correlation. I will continue to buy this brand.

smelly but functional; rarely a full bottle
I started using, all in the same few days: Paula's Choice liquid SA exfoliant, this here Cos de Baja Vit C serum, Skin Smart Antimicrobial Face Cleanser. I was already using my own homemade witch hazel & rose toner, a tea tree bodywash as facewash, Hanhoo watermelon overnight illuminator, Paula's Choice benzoyl peroxide and Christine Moss moisturizer. My skin was just NOT cooperating and needed to get whipped into shape. So, this stuff I use at during the morning with Christine Moss moisturizer, and and at night I use the Hanhoo illuminator and Paula's Choice salicylic acid exfoliant (which sounds really drastic, but no more so than holy water - and works better than the latter, imho). I use the toner and face wash both night and day. Of the aforementioned dermatological cornucopia, I saw the biggest positive changes with respect to breakouts when using the Paula's Choice exfoliant. With respect to fine lines and wrinkles, I noticed improvements quite rapidly with the Vit C. For instance, those nasiolabial creases (google it, it's not as racy as it sounds) are now much more downplayed. My crows' feet are mostly invisible now (which - A for effort - but makes me look like a mirthless harrier, given that the deep trenches of frown lines still remain intractable; so word to the wise - start on the frown lines first. If you have an RBF, that's gonna take longer to erase than any fine whispers of grandmotherly warmth). So, that said, this stuff *is* working. In its own special way. But, it didn't really seem to have much of a positive impact on my acne (Aunt Sally...cylic Acid...had to come to town to make that stick), and Slavoj Žižek is still my doppelganger in the eyebags department. I will continue to use it, and I will also continue chanting and taking supplements, avoiding alcohol and sugar, and occasionally sacrificing a ram, I don't know what works, and this isn't THAT expensive. Maybe someday I'll be beautiful. Let me tell you the real sacrifice, before PETA shows up, because no, I would never do that to a ram. Animals are the best. #govegan The real sacrifice here is that, after using this at night, it's always a bit like waking up on a dirty couch after a night of beer pong with some lowlifes, wondering how coyote things have gotten in the past 12 comatose hours. So it's nice to use this in the morning only, in order to not have to reek like that when I wake up smushed against a cat-fur covered t-shirt pillow. It's nice because (luckily) no one I'm kissing or hugging these days has a very good sense of smell, and I had a long enough subscription to Scentbird to mask the vomitorious citrus/Vit C odor of this elixir -- a reek not at all unlike the passenger side of a car after taking a drunk friend home -- with various counterelixirs such as Vince Camuto's Terra fragrance, or Tommy Bahama's St. Kitts. So use it. But also use perfume. Until they fix the smell. And start on your frown lines first. And also get some exfoliant and/or benzoyl peroxide if acne was your shake of the genetic dice. Edit: I’ve ordered it 11 times now and sometimes receive a sealed but only 50-75% filled bottle. So I tried switching brands but haven’t found anything as good. Frustrating.

Pleasantly surprised! Brighter and smoother skin!
I’ve been using this serum for about 6 weeks, and have seen a marked improvement. I started noticing it about 3 weeks of using it once a day. Not only is my skin brighter, it is also smoother and clear. I’ve actually received compliments on the quality of my skin, which hasn’t happened since my 20’s. I have always been an outdoors woman, and at 49 had begun to look a bit *cough* weathered. Having tried other vitamin C serums in the past, I had given up on them because they irritated my sensitive skin. For a little while I had some luck with a L’Oréal serum, but it began to lose its efficacy as I aged. I wanted something that would give me brighter and smoother skin, and address some fine lines I was developing. This serum was recommended to me by a dear friend who can afford to buy very pricy products (like..any products she wants). So I decided that if it was good enough for her, I should try it. I’m very glad I did. I will be adding other products from the CDB line in the future. The price point is attractive, and based on my experience with this serum, I expect them to work equally well (and if they don’t, I’m not out that much money!). I highly recommend this for middle aged, mature skin that has seen some outdoor weather. I cannot speak to how it would work on very heavily damaged skin, as I’ve been better with using sunscreen for the past 4 years, and think that has helped stave off deeper damage.

Soft skin and hyperpigmentation almost gone!
This is a genuine review, where I bought the product with my own money. Firstly, I have some hyperpigmentation from tretinoin purges that left my skin barrier extremely damaged. So, I made sure my skin barrier was completely healed before using this slightly irritating vitamin c product. I applied in onto completely dry skin to prevent the product from penetrating too deeply into my skin. So, I either applied on my bare face or after applying toner and letting it dry down. Then I dropped 2-3 drops onto my cheeks and forehead. I noticed a bit of irritation around my nose and mouth, areas with thinner and more sensitive skin, so I avoided it. I tapped it down into my face and let it dry completely to allow the product to do its thing before applying moisturizer. I then applied my serums and lotions, etc. And HOLY COW my skin felt so soft the next morning. I applied again the next day and felt like my skin was slightly irritated. So, I gave my ski around two days to rest before using it again. Now, I am around a couple weeks in and am using nightly without irritation. My skin literally feels so soft, my makeup applies great, and my pigmentation has faded insanely. The product has aloe leaf extract, as well as vitamin b, all of which are great for skin relief and hydration. I will update upon further use, but damn, how did I not know about this product sooner?? For this price, I will be using this for a lifetime. Definitely recommend for those who are scared to use stronger actives such as retinoids, retinols, or azelaic acid!

Great steal!
This stuff works well. It helped to brighten my skin, that's for sure! One thing to note is that it will oxidize over time (hence the amber bottle). So, keep it out of light and away from heat! It absorbs quickly and is NOT sticky.
