Capture card needed for us!
It takes a special cable from the sound board to the capture card from the camera to the computer. Took a while to figure out.

Total overkill for Teams calls — which is exactly why it’s perfect
I’m using this for my Teams calls now, and I fully admit it’s way more camera than anyone needs just to talk about scheduling. But the 4K picture is ridiculously clean, and the PTZ controls make me feel like I’m running a livestream instead of a meeting. The remote is the best part — I can pan, tilt, and zoom like I’m directing a tiny studio camera. Sometimes I adjust it mid-call just to entertain myself. Is it necessary for normal office work? Not even close. Does it make me look like I’m hosting a press conference instead of asking for project updates? Absolutely, and I’m not going back.

Great for event center use.
We got this for our event center. We wanted camera that can pan/tilt also zoom in for more clear images. This seems like the perfect camera for that. There is 20x Optical zoom built in. The zoom quality is decent, but not very sharp. This is not a big deal, since the image quality is good enough to use. There are HDMI, USB, RJ45 and SDI connections on there. We normally just use the RJ45, using it as PTZ IP camera. This is a much easier option for setting up and accessing it via computer. So far this works for what we need in the event center. The image quality is not good enough for professional recording, but good enough for just view, and keep of track of what is going on in the event center.

4k or only 1080p?
Has anyone connected the camera in 4K? Because this camera says it's 4K. I'm torn between the FoMako and this one. Is it true that it's 4K via HDMI, or is it fake? This one doesn't have AI auto-tracking, but the FoMako does.
