Logical step up from the D300s
UPDATE: I've had this camera for several months now and honestly, I love it. I did purchase Nikon's 50mm 1.8 lens as a prime and WOW. That little piece of glass produces some amazingly sharp pictures. I also purchased the Rokinon 14mm wide angle as well and it too produces very nice images mounted to this frame. My primary use for this lens in real estate photograph, mostly interior work. My next big lens buy will be the new Tamron G2 70-20mm/ 2.8 zoom and I think that will do it. I've been out taking pictures every chance I can, exploring the capabilities of this amazing camera. Next week it does into the studio for some glamour shoots. I'm sure it won't disappoint. I had been thinking about moving to the full frame platform for some time. I weighed the pro's and con's of the D810 vs the D610, got confused and ultimately didn't buy either. Then I stumbled upon this beauty and I couldn't resist any longer. My purchase through Amazon was painless and it was just this past week that I got a chance to get out and experiment with the camera and 24-120mm bundled Nikkor lens. I took the camera to the SF Auto Show at the Moscone convention center. Shooting in doors and, in some instances, pretty low light, meant some careful adjustment of white balance which, of course, this camera as well as my D300s handles effortlessly. The more revealing problem the low light situations uncovered was the slowness of the lens. At wide open, its f4, which is not great. The effect is that the ISO needed to be boosted to around 5000 in order to get an adequate shutter speed to insure the resulting picture was sharp and clear. My biggest concern was that the noise at 5k ISO would cripple the shot. I set HIGH ISO NR to "on" and started shooting. The results were great. No noise, clear and crisp shots. While the 24-120 f4 lens would probably not be my first choice for this camera, the fact that it came bundled together at a price point I could afford makes it a good starting point for building my stable of FX lenses. For now it appears to work just fine. This is a great combo, body especially for serious photographers and enthusiasts. The attached photo is a Pagani super car. The ambient light around this car was very low. The car is a dark purple, sitting on a black carpet with black drapes as a back drop. I shot this free hand, (a tripod should have been used) at 1/13th at f5.6 ISO 4k. The resulting picture size is 16megs (shooting FINE/Large). Hope this helps.

A fantastic and versatile camera for professional use.
Fantastic camera. Before I bought this camera I shot 90% of my professional work with a Canon system (I began using the Fuji X series during the summer of 2014) but when I read early reviews for the D750 I decided that it was time to switch. I came from using 2 Canon 5D Mark III's and Canon L/Sigma ART glass to a comparable Nikon D750 system and I haven't looked back. The file quality alone just blows any professional Canon body out of the water. The detail in shadows and highlights is unbelievable. The autofocus works in near-dark. Seriously. The first wedding I shot with my D750's I was able to keep shooting in ambient light HOURS after my Mark III's would have stopped hitting their AF. The tracking is also really great, I have no problem shooting professional and collegiate sports with this setup as well. The ergonomics on the D750 are great. The grip is nice and deep and all of the buttons and dials are right at your fingertips. The dual SD card slots are great, and I haven't missed all of my old compact flash cards one bit. One more quick thing: I shoot a whole bunch of video, multiple hours worth each week. The prevailing opinion on Nikon was that their video capabilities were definitely inferior to Canon, and I had found that to be true prior to the D750. Nikon has taken video seriously with this body and the HD footage it produces is stellar. The only downside is that it stops recording every 20 minutes, the 5D3 had added the ability to automatically parse files after 20 minutes and keep on shooting. Unfortunately, the D750 does not include that feature and it does prove to be rather annoying, but that is the only thing I miss from my Canon days. I can't recommend this camera more strongly.

My dream camera finally in my hands. I owned a D7100 for several years and have taken intensive photography courses which have taught me a great deal. However they all Focus (Excuse the pun) on full frame cameras. Well after weeks of research I finally decided on the D750 coupled with the 24-120 F4 zoom. What a fantastic camera. Has plenty of pixels for anything I would print, is solid and well built, Focus is amazing, dynamic range, clarity, speed, low light capability, this has it all. I could have waited but the newer cameras are simply going up in MP and adding things like touch screens, which I'm not a fan of on a camera and of course price. I grabbed this while they still make them. This model is a real gem and I highly recommend it. One word of caution, there is a bundle listed here with a DX lens. Be careful. It costs less, but that is because it is a cropped lens and will not cover your new expensive full frame sensor. You can enable "autocrop" but you will lose MP, clarity and quality. The DX lens is lower quality so lower price but know this up front it is not intended for full frame camera use. It will fit, but you won't be happy. Spend the extra few dollars so you wont be dissapointed and get one of the bundles with the full frame lens (Anything NOT marked DX). Don't limit your new fantastic D750.

A Great Camera !
A nice step up from my D7000 and before that, a D5000. Great low light performance, color rendition, hand feel, controls, a huge boost in MP's...I cant think of one negative thing to say about it. Well, actually, I did discover that I need to get Lightroom Creative Cloud as Photoshop does not support the raw images from the D750. That was a bummer initially, but Lightroom has so much more to offer than Photoshop, so that was a good move looking back. I did a lot of homework before I made the jump to a Full Frame.... yes, I lost $ on some lenses that would not be compatible but dont regret my decision at all. The photo's that I have taken are far superior to the D7000. I did also look at the D7200 and D610 but decided that this one is a better choice,(although the D7200 was close, I had a hankering for a full frame and the D610 was not much less $$ than this one) for what I feel, would be the best fit for my photographic needs. Everyone's needs are different, mine were for Landscape photography,Low light photography as well as some macro and a little wildlife photography. I wanted to take some great photo's but (sometimes) do not feel the need to get all anal about it. I do occasionally suffer from gear acquisition phobia My best source of photography information comes from a web site known as Photography Life. They have done a wonderful job of not only giving great reviews on this camera and lens, they also have great tips on photography as well. This lens, by the way Rocks ! Its replaced my Nikon 18-200 as a walk around (DX does not work well on FX bodies). I love the extra f stops and by cropping, I dont really feel sad about the loss of reach either.

Great camera with a good lens useful for most occasions.
Great camera with a good lens that in many regards beats the more expensive Canon 5D with 24-105 f4L. The dynamic range on the camera makes wonders and in most cases I did not have to do any post-processing. Shooting in low light conditions is very easy with great results. The only downside is a red tint to the bottom of the pictures, especially visible when shooting in dark with long exposures. Take a shot with the lens cap on, for 1/2 second and you will see it. It seems this problem occurs due to the (small) size of the camera.

Excellent Camera
I'm a professional photographer and have always used DX cameras because I like their reach and I can make prints up to 36 x 24 that are sharp as a tack. I never felt the need to get a full frame camera. I had my Nikon 7200 stolen, so I went online to order another one, but could only find them used. I decided to go ahead and buy the D750, no so much for the camera, but because I liked the 24-120 glass. At a consistent F4 aperture, I thought it would make a nice addition to my camera bag of tools. As it turned out, I not only loved the lens, but the camera as well. They both are well made. I would not consider the lens a "kit" lens. It's as sharp as a tack. The camera is complicated. But since I have been using Nikon digital DSLR's since the D70, the learning curve was very quick. Most of the buttons have stayed in the same position as have the menues. It's just a matter of filling in the blanks by reading a good book that describes using the D750 in fine detail. I just got done reviewing one that I highly recommend. Sorry, but I forgot the title. I would recommend this camera to someone seasoned with how the Nikon system works and/or photographers that are at a high intermediate or advanced level. For an entry camera, I think it might be a frustrating experience for a noobie.

Ready to upgrade?
I purchased this back in August of 2016. I didn't want to put in a full review until I had this for at least a year. Now that i've had it for a year and a half I must admit that this is the best camera I have ever had my hands on. I'm not a technical photographer but more of a creative one. I tend to stay away from any manual modes but instead shoot in "A" mode. The D750 has blown me away and has helped my visions come to life. The abilities such as capturing photos in low light conditions alone had me hooked from day one. I'm able to shoot my indoor weddings with ease without worrying if it's too dark. I'm a natural light photographer so this was perfect for me. Also you can control your camera from you phone using an app named WMU, it acts as a remote and shows you what the camera sees. I also recently did a video with my camera and I couldn't believe the quality that it produced. The lens that came with it I didn't use much just because I'm a prime lens person. However when I did use it the quality of the images was very high. It's a great zoom lens for people who like shooting with them. For anyone who is wanting to thrive in their creativity and thrive in their business, I highly recommend the D750. I cannot say enough amazing things about it. Give it a try for sure, it has yet to let me down.

Best, most feature packed FF for the money by a long shot.
I'm not going to go into detail, as there are plenty of reviews, but I have owned many Nikon cameras. Most recent are the D800 and D7000. Cut to the chase, I LOVE this camera! Perfect file size, awesome high ISO, best AF performance, and particularly -3EV AF sensitivity. This thing focuses in nearly complete darkness. Smaller than the D800. About the size of D7000 but with deeper hand grip, making it feel more substantial without being larger. Bought directly from Amazon, and received a brand new product, that reported 1 shutter release in EXIF on the first jpg I shot. Oh, and I bought it with the 24-120 f/4 just because it was $600 off. I figured I'd just sell the lens because I don't really use that range in a zoom, as my 70-200mm lives on my FF, or I occasionally use a 28mm prime. But I decided to try it out and was surprised at the IQ. I had heard not great things about this lens, but it was sharper wide open at 28mm than the 28mm at f/4. It is a fairly large, weighty lens for a mid-zoom though. Constant f/4 and VR in combination with IQ make it worth keeping.

Excelente camara, buenas imagenes
